ALEXANDRIA- Jean Elizabeth Wilson, 83, of Alexandria died Saturday in Alexandria Care Center after an extended illness.

Jean was born in Elwood on Oct. 13, 1923 and was the daughter of Ora and Cleo (Dellinger) Martin.  She married Robert L. Wilson who preceded her in death in 1993.

Along with her Husband she was the co-owner of B& J Manufacturing Co. of Wooden Toys in Elwood.

Jean is survived by two Sons, David (Merri) Wilson of Alexandria and Daniel (Tina) Wilson of Elwood. Also surviving are eight Grandchildren and seven Great-Grandchildren.

Her Parents, Husband, a Son, Robert, Jr. and a Daughter, Sharon preceded Jean in death.

Funeral services will be Tuesday in Whetsel Funeral Service, Alexandria with Rev. John Albright of the Alexandria Church of God officiating.  Burial will follow in Elwood City Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the Alexandria Care Center’s Activity Fund in care of the funeral home.
