Harry "Bud" Whetsel
Bud has been a long time resident of Alexandria has been a licensed funeral director for over 35 years. He has dedicated himself to serving others in their greatest time of need.
A native of Madison County, he has been active in community and civic organizations. Bud has served as a past president of the Alexandria Service Club and the Independent Funeral Directors of Indiana. He is currently a member of the Alexandria Service Club, Independent Funeral Directors of Indiana, Alexandria Elks Lodge, Alexandria Lodge #235, F& A.M., Knights of Columbus Council 563 and the Church of St. Mary’s.
Bud frequently serves as a guest lecturer and Commencement speaker at numerous funeral service colleges and related groups.
Bud is married to Susan R. (Hueston) Whetsel, and the father of four children.

Susan R. Whetsel
Susan is a native of Madison County and a lifetime resident of Alexandria. The daughter of Larry and Sue Hueston. She is 1980 graduate of Alexandria Monroe High School and a 1981 graduate of Apex Beauty School of Cosmetology and has been a licensed cosmetologist for over 30 years.
Susan currently serves as the office coordinator for Whetsel Funeral Service as well as a family service caregiver.
Susan has a passion for helping others and often volunteers with local community groups. She is a member of the Summitville Fire Dept. Auxillary and the Church of St. Mary’s. Susan is married to Bud Whetsel and the mother of four children.

Norman Parr
Norman has been a member of the Whetsel Funeral Service staff for over 14 years. He holds a Doctor of Theology degree and has been a pastor since 1984. He loves to help families needing grief support by offering counseling from the heart, at no charge.
Norman is a licensed insurance agent, and serves a as pre-need funeral counselor for the funeral home.
He is member of the Church of St. Mary’s. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 563 where he is a Faithful Navigator of the 4th Degree and serves as Treasurer. He is a member of the Alexandria Service Club where he serves as Chaplin and Board of Directors as well as the club cook and Chairman of the Building Committee.
Norman is married to Mary L. (Hand) Parr and the father of a Daughter and Grandfather of two and Great-Grandfather of three.
