Dear
Visitor,
Thank
you for visiting our web site. As a funeral director I have
gained over 20 years of experience in grief counseling and
bereavement support. This experience has given me a unique
opportunity; to walk beside grieving individuals and families and to
assist them with support information about the process of grief and
the connection with community as they learn to live without the
physical presence of someone they have loved. This web site
gives us even more connection to help people deal with grieving.
Bereavement
Support can provide...
-
availability
of support at the time of viewing, funeral and afterwards
in-person, by phone or mailings,
-
readings
to help you understand your loss and begin the process of
'growing through grief',
-
referrals
to groups, counselors and other resources,
-
information
about grief education materials for all ages,
-
invitations
to our holiday memorial programs,
-
and
there is no cost for this service.
On
the following pages, please find some suggested reading materials
written by Dr. Alan Wolfelt. Alan D. Wolfelt, Ph.D. is an
internationally noted author, educator, and grief counselor.
He serves as Director of the Center for Loss and Life Transition
and is on the faculty at the University of Colorado Medical
