Barbara Sue Cox, 71 of Alexandria died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in Community Hospital after a brief illness.
Barbara was born on Nov. 2, 1941 in Muncie, IN and was the daughter of Roland “Cliff” and Evelyn (Dennis) Weaver.
She retired from Delco Remy in 1998.
Surviving is her Husband, Kay E. Cox of Alexandria. Also surviving is her Nephew, Lance Cox , her Nieces, Angie (Jim) Rose, Erica (Neil) Brown and Jessica Cox and several Great-Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Parents.
Services will be on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Whetsel Funeral Service, Alexandria with Rev. Michael Thompson and Rev. Rodney Dennis officiating. Burial will follow in Park View Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Alexandria Food Pantry, 309 W. Washington, Alexandria, IN 46001 or in care of the funeral home.
