Betty C. Hensley, 65 of Alexandria died Thursday, July 14, 2016 in St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital after an extended illness.
Betty was born in Anderson, IN on September 18, 1950 and was the daughter of Carl and Opal (Rector) Brady. On Dec. 12, 2009 in Muncie, IN she married David Hensley.
She was a member of the Eagles Lodge Ladies Auxiliary, Alexandria.
She was retired from Firestone Corporation and the Pac Corporation.
Betty is survived by her husband, David Hensley of Alexandria, two Wendy (Michael) Sample of Alexandria, Sarah (Charles) McCune of Summitville, two sons, Jonathan Dunn and Matthew (Alicia) Dunn both of Summitville, a sister, Margie Payne. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry Brady.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Starr Cemetery, W Co. Rd. 1350 N, Alexandria with Bud Whetsel officiating. Burial will follow the service. There will be no public visitation.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Whetsel Funeral Service, Alexandria.
