ALEXANDRIA: Betty Jo Webb, 92 of Alexandria went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 10, 2018 in Community Hospital.
Betty was born in Tipton, IN on May 3, 1926 and was the daughter of Lee F. and Irene (Heagy) Van Horn. She was married to William J. Webb, Sr. who preceded her in death.
She had been a loyal and faithful member of the Greater Hope Apostolic Church , Alexandria.
Betty retired in 1990 from GenCorp Automotive after 24 years of employment.
She is survived by a son David (Jackye) Reed, a daughter, Patty Evans, a special niece, Georgia Toms-Smith, a brother, Philip Van Horn, and her sisters, Marilyn Troth and Shirley Bunnell, her grandchildren, David E. Reed, David Reed, Jr., Tim Santos, Erin Reed and her five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William J Webb, Sr., a son, William J Webb, Jr., a daughter, Cindy Witsken, a grandson, Chuk Starrett, a brother, Paul Van Horn, and sisters, Joan Kuczynski, Ruth Wilson and Vera Castor.
Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Whetsel Funeral Service, Alexandria with Rev. Dale Watson officiating. Burial will follow in IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Greater Hope Apostolic Church, 1005 E 6th St, Alexandria, IN 46001 or in care of the funeral home.
