Carolyn Sue Keegan, 75 of Alexandria died Thursday, April 27, 2023, in Community Hospital Anderson after an extended illness, while surrounded by her loving family.
Carolyn was born on May 15, 1947, in Anderson, IN and was the daughter of Vern and Betty (Hall) Little. She had worked as a waitress for many years and for the last several years she worked as self-employed Home Healthcare Aide.
She was a member of the Alexandria Elks Lodge #478 and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles Lodge Aeries 1771 of Alexandria.
Left to cherish her memory are grandchildren, Cheyanne (Braxton) Branham, Steven Jones and Macie Jones; her life companion, Danny L Johnson; and her sister, Tammy (Marvin Peters) Bright. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews including her nephew, Brian Hasty who she considered her son.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, David Jones, Steven Jones and Michael Walters; brother, Roger Little; sisters, Jackie Mason and Dixie Hasty and sister-in-law Jodi Little.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Whetsel Funeral Service, Park Ave Chapel, 1503 S Park Ave., Alexandria, Indiana. Cremation will follow.
Memorial gifts may be directed to the Alexandria Elks Lodge Building Fund, 1810 S Harrison St., Alexandria, IN 46001 or in care of the funeral home.
