Cathy Jones

Cathy L. Jones, 64 of Muncie and formerly of Frankton died on June 20, 2017 at her residence after an extended illness.
Cathy was born in Anderson, IN on Nov. 2, 1952 and was the daughter of Willie Carmon and Betty J. (Stearns) Blakeley-Watt. On May 18, 2013 she married Terry R. Jones.
She was a retired nurse and member of the Faith Fellowship Church, Muncie and the Salvation Army Women’s Ministry in Muncie.
She is survived by her husband, Terry R Jones, step-father, David Watt, son, Greg A (Chasity) Waymire, step-son, Todd R Jones, daughter, Amy (Terry) McCord, step-daughters, Kristen K Jones, Dusty M Jones, brother, Tim (Sandra) Blakeley, sisters, Theresa (Oscar) Robinson, Helen Giles, Amber Blakeley, brother-in-law, Don Jones. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Seth McCord, Adam McCord, Katelyn Beals, Casey Waymire, Junior Waymire and step-grandson, Rowan Jones and a great-grandchild, Kaden Betz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty J Watt, Willie C. Blakeley and a brother, Carmon Lee Blakeley.
Funeral services for Cathy will be Friday, June 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Whetsel Funeral Service, 1503 S. Park Ave., Alexandria with Revs. Scott and Earlene Lamperd officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson. Friends may call at the funeral on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
