David Lee Showalter, 82 of Alexandria died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023 in Community Hospital after an extended illness.
Mr. Showalter was born in Marion, IN on Aug. 4, 1940. He was the son of David Wilson and Dorothy Showalter..
He was avid fisherman and a fan of the Indianapolis Colts Football team.
Mr. Showalter is survived by four sons, David N. (Elaine) Showalter, Mark Showalter, Joseph N. Showalter and Matt Showalter.; a brother, Steve Showalter. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen and there are no services planned at this time.
