Edley C. Frye, 78 of Alexandria died Friday, March 2, 2012 in the Alexandria Care Center after an extended illness.
He was born on Jan. 24, 1934 in Springfield , IL and was the son of William and Ethel Frye.
Edley was retired from Payless Supermarket in Anderson where was employed as the Manager of the Deli Dept.
Survivors include his son, Michael Frye, two daughters, Donna K Parker and Judy A. Saiia, one sister, Eleanor Hawkins. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen. Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Whetsel Funeral Service of Alexandria has been entrusted with the arrangements.
