Freda O. Crotinger, 88 of Alexandria went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, Mar. 15, 2020 after an extended illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Wally Stroup, Ned Crotinger; daughter, Gloria Bright; brothers, David and Ed Teague and sister Ada Blockson.

It took me a few days before I could bring myself to look at your obituary. I had a lot of laughs and good memories with you and will always love you.

Steve and Paula's house, some time around 1996 or 97 maybe. It was the Halloween season (Gloria's favorite I think) and it was bonfire time in the backyard. Freda put on what she she thought was a scary mask, hid in the dark, and jumped out to scare the kids. She was immediately tackled! I think she may have gotten the wind knocked out of her, but she recovered like a champ! -Glenda
