Gerald Gibson

Gerald R. Gibson, 91, formerly of Summitville, IN, passed away October 15, 2022. Mr. Gibson was a native Hoosier that moved to Florida in the late 1990’s.
He retired from Emge’s Meat Packing Company and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Gibson is survived by his wife, Yvonne, daughters, Rebecca (David) Tune, and Susan Unruh, granddaughters, Holly DeLong, and Jessica (William) Van Story, as well as 16 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia (Payne) Gibson, his parents, Roy and Lucy Gibson, brothers Herman, Wayne, Lisle, Adrian, and Robert, along with a great granddaughter, Leigha Sue DeLong.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Whetsel Funeral Service, Park Ave. Chapel of Alexandria is handling local arrangements.
