Glenda Knuckles

Glenda Joan Knuckles, 84 of Summitville died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021 in her residence after an extended illness while in the company of her loving family.
Glenda was born in Summitville on April 30, 1936 and was the daughter of Ora R. and Stella B. (Magowen) Pettigrew. She later married Charles M. Knuckles who preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Summitville United Methodist Church.
Glenda was retired from Guide Lamp Corp., Anderson after 30 years of employment.
Left to cherish Glenda’s memory is her daughter, Brenda Purvis, her grandson, Clark Purvis, her brother, James Pettigrew, her sister, Gladys Small.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles M. Knuckles, a son, Charles Kenneth Knuckles, a sister, Sarah Oldfield, brothers-in-law, William Oldfield and Wayne Small.
A private family graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will follow in Vison Memorial Park Cemetery.
