Hollie D. Gaines, 37 of Alexandria died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011 in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis after an extended illness.
Hollie was born in Anderson, IN on Oct. 3, 1973 and was the daughter of Charles Eppards and Regina (Greene) Womack. Hollie was a 1992 graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School. On Nov. 19, 1994 she married John P. Gaines.
Hollie is survived by her Husband of 17 years, John P. Gaines, her Son and Daughter, Wyatt and Emery Gaines both at home. Her Parents, Charles (Liz) Eppards of Alexandria and Regina (Jim) Womack of Elwood. Two Brothers, Christopher (Carolina) Eppards of Indianapolis and Andrew Eppards of Muncie and a Half-Sister, Tammy Compton of Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Hollie’s life will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Whetsel Funeral Service, Alexandria with Rev. Joshua Carney officiating. Cremation will follow. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made to the Susan G. Komen For The Cure, 1099 N. Meridian St., Ste. 111, Indianapolis, IN 46282 or in care of the funeral home.
