Jackie Dean Godfrey, 73 of Marion and formerly of Alexandria died Nov. 16, 2020 in Marion General Hospital, Marion after an extended illness.
Jackie was born in San Pablo, CA on Sept. 14, 1947 and was the son of Lloyd and Alta (Jones) Godfrey.
He was a retired Oil Field worker and a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the United States Army.
Jackie is survived by his special friends and caretakers, Paul and Vada Tanner of Alexandria.
At Jackie’s request there will no public services. Private interment will take place in the Marion National Cemetery.
Whetsel Funeral Service of Alexandria has been entrusted with Jackie’s arrangements.
