Jacqueline Mason

July 17, 1953 — June 19, 2019

Jacqueline Mae Mason, 65 known better by her friends and family as Jackie, died Wednesday, June 19, 2019 in Community Hospital, Anderson after an extended illness. For the past few months, Jackie had been a resident of Miller’s Merry Manor in Chesterfield.

Jackie was born on Aug. 17, 1953 and was the daughter of Verne and Betty J. (Hall) Little.

Jackie was a loving and caring Mother and Grandmother. She always enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and her sisters and brother. She spent many hours doing her favorite hobby of crocheting.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Malena (Randy) Lawson and Jeremy
(Samantha) Mason; her brother, Roger Little; her sisters, Carolyn (Danny Johnson) Keegan, Dixie (Charles) Hasty and Tammy Bright. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Cam Mason, Austin Mason, Bradly Mason, Randy Earl Lawson and Hailey Lawson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Whetsel Funeral Service, Alexandria. Cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the Donor’s choice.
