Leo Roesler

Leo R. (Rick) Roesler, Jr., 66 of Alexandria died Monday, Mar. 7, 2022, at his residence after an extended illness.

Rick was born in Anderson, IN on Aug. 3, 1955, and was the son of Leo and Dorothy (Graves) Roesler, Sr. He lived his whole life in Alexandria and graduated from Alexandria-Monroe High School in 1974.

Rick was a member of the Church of St. Mary’s in Alexandria.

He did his apprenticeship at Detail Tool & Die. During his career he worked a variety of GM locations in central Indiana. After 30 plus years he retired from General Motors in 2021.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Christina, and Jaiden Roesler both of Alexandria; his brother, Chuck Roesler of Anderson; his former wife, Debra Roesler of Pendleton and his aunt, Eileen Johnson of Alexandria. He was also survived by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Dorothy Roesler, Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Mar. 11, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. in the Church of St. Mary’s, 820 W Madison St., Alexandria with Fr. David Helllmann as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Park View Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the St. Mary's Building Fund, 820 W Madison St., Alexandria, IN 46001 or in care of the funeral home.
