ALEXANDRIA: Marea L Widener, 59 of Alexandria entered her new kingdom on Feb. 19, 2014 at her residence after a brief illness.
Marea was born in Anderson, IN on Sept. 10, 1954 and was the daughter of William and Leona (Michael) Dowden who preceded her in death. On Dec. 30, 1981 she married John E Widener who survives.
She was a retired Home Maker. She loved watching horror movies on Sci-Fi , TV shows, Ghost Hunters and Andy Griffith. Her favorite authors were Stephen King and Anne Rice.
Marea watches over her family that remains including her husband, John E Widener, sons, Daniel (Mary Martin) Widener, John Eric Widener; daughters, Kelly (Gabriel) Price, Ramona Widener, Rose (Ron) Daniels, special sister of the heart Linda (James) Anderson and daughters of the heart, Stephanie and Linda Anderson. Six siblings, Seth Dowden, Cuatt Dowden , Brenda Dowden, Treasa Dowden, Christine Dowden, James Dowden. Grandchildren, Malikye Auler, Kamea Price, Abel Price, Jerry Daniels, Katrina Daniels , Breyden Daniels .
Marea is missed dearly by many and will remain forever in the hearts of those who now await the joyous reunion to come.
A private family celebration will be held at the convenience of the family.
