Margery Decker

Margery Jeanne Decker, 80 of Alexandria died Saturday, April 27, 2013 in Community Hospital, Anderson after an brief illness.

Margery was born in Alexandria on Nov. 2, 1932 and was the daughter of Ira T. and Mildred M. (Sleeth) Humphries. She later married David Decker who preceded her in death on April 26, 1998.

For some time Margery resided in Kalamazoo MI where is retired from Bronson Methodist Hospital as a medical records clerk.

Margery is survived by two Sisters, Janet Epler of Alexandria and Margaret A. Jourdan of Chesterfield, MO. Also surviving are several Nieces and Nephews.

Margery was preceded in death by her Parents, her Husband, David , a Sister, Carol Flynn and Brother, Donald Humphries.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Whetsel Funeral Service, Alexandria with Rev. Donald R Hosier officiating. Interment will follow in Park View Cemetery, Alexandria. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
