Mark Flynn

Mark Andrew Flynn, 53 of Alexandria died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016 at Community Hospital, Anderson after an extended illness.
Mark was born in Anderson on Aug. 27, 1963 and was the son of David and Carol (Humphries) Flynn, Sr. and he attended Alexandria-Monroe High School.
Mark enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and especially his dogs, Sadie and Duke.
He had been employed F. Neil Johnson as a warehouse merchandise sorter.
Mark is survived by two sisters, Susan (Allan) Knuckles of Alexandria and Jennifer (Jerry) Shinabarger of Elwood, two brothers, David Flynn, Jr. of Ocklawaha, FL and Michael Flynn of Alexandria , two aunts, Janet Epler of Alexandria and Waltraud Flynn of Chesterfield, special friends, Tammy and Billy Martin. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in Park View Cemetery, Alexandria with Bud Whetsel officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no public visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made to the American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96th, Suite 100, Indianapolis, Indiana 46278 or in care of the funeral home.
