Mary Shipp

Mary Alice Shipp, 85 of Summitville died on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at her residence after an extended illness.

Mary was born in Alexandra on April 13, 1936 and was the daughter of James Newton and Mildred F. (Greenlee) Jones-Hollingsworth.

Mary was a retired Home Maker.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, William Keith (Patricia) Starr, Robert Earl (Barbara) Starr, Ronald Eugene Starr, Eugene (Julie) Shipp, Elizabeth Darlene (Jeff) Rohrer and Susan (Dion) Barton; her brother, Lee (Irene) Hollingsworth; her sister, Naomi Cox. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Shipp; a sons, James Benson Starr and Daniel Dean Shipp.

A private family service will be held later. Interment of cremains will be in Forestville Cemetery, Summitville.
