Maxwell “Max” E. Ward, 76 went to be with Lord on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020 at his residence while in the company of his loving family.
Max was born in Wise, VA on April 5, 1944 and was the son of Robert and Nellie (Richardson) Ward. On Dec. 23, 1966 he married Frieda (Dotson) Ward.
He retired in 2003 from Guide Lamp Division of General Motors in Anderson.
Max loved his Lord and Savior with all his heart and always strived to serve Him as a member of Kingston Ave. Baptist Church, Anderson.
He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather who always spending time with his family. He also enjoyed browsing on E Bay, and Chevrolet corvair cars.
Left to carry on his legacy of love, are his wife, Frieda Ward, his children, Melanie (Randy) Lewis and Kevin (Jodi) Ward, his grandchildren, Zach (Shelby Rasnake) Lewis and Kaleigh (Andrew Haskell) Lewis, Newman Ward, Reagan Ward and Canaan Ward. And great-grandchild, Carter Maxwell Lewis.
Services for Max will be held later at the convenience of the family.
