Michael D. Hodge, 67 of Alexandria died Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in Providence Anderson Health Care after extended illness.
Mike was born in Marion, IN on July 22, 1949 and was the son of Robert J Dorothea E. (Phillippe) Hodge. On June 13, 1998 he married Sharon K. (Knuckles) Hodge.
Mike was a retired welder. He was a member of the Greater Hope Apostolic Church, Alexandria.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon, a son, Michael D. Hodge, Jr., daughters, Dorothea Hodge and Sandy (John) Sheets, a brother, David Hodge and a sister, Sharon Hancock. Also surviving are five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Whetsel Funeral Service, 1503 S Park Ave., Alexandria with Rev. Dale Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Vinson Memorial Park Cemetery, Summitville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
