Michael Paskell

Michael C. Paskell, 62 of rural Gaston died Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at his residence after an extended illness.
Mike was born in Anderson, IN on Nov. 6, 1954 and was the son of Chester and Mary (Cleaver) Paskell. Mike was a 1974 graduate of the Riverside Military Academy, Gainesville, GA. On Feb. 25, 2017 he married Brenda (Combs) Paskell.
Mike had been employed by General Motors in Marion for 42 years.
He was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Mary’s, Alexandria.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Brenda, his mother, Mary Bradford, sons, Jarrod Paskell, Tyler (Kassi Barker) George and Christian George, daughters, Stephanie Paskell, Megan Paskell and Ainsley George, a brother, Mark (Sharon) Paskell and a sister, Peggy Clabaugh. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Cady George and Keira George.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Paskell and a brother, Thomas Paskell.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Hopewell Cemetery, Farmland with Rev. Gary Taylor officiating, burial will follow.
