Phyllis Diane “Tutty” Kennedy, 59 of Anderson died Saturday, April 21, 2018 after a sudden illness.
She was born in Livingston, TN to the late John and Lenal (Taylor) Kennedy on May 31, 1958. She resided in Anderson most of her life.
She was a graduate of Madison Heights High School. Tutty enjoyed going to concerts with her great nephew Austin and crafting and being with her family.
Tutty is survived by her siblings, John (Le Genia) Kennedy of Greenfield, JoAnn Anderson of Alexandria, Larry (Vickie) Kennedy of Anderson and Bobby Kennedy of Alexandria. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Amie (Greg) Hood, Christopher Kennedy, Joseph Kennedy and Jada (Jim) Smith; several great nieces and nephews, two aunts, an uncle and several cousins and special friends Janice and Dan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Billy Kennedy, sister, Brinda Kennedy and brother-in-law, Gerald Anderson.
A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Whetsel Funeral Service, 1503 S. Park Ave., Alexandria. Burial will be in Livingston, TN at the convenience of the family.
