Richard G Butterfield, 80 of Orestes died Friday, January 22, 2016 at his residence after an extended illness.
Richard was born on Jan. 18, 1936 in Presidio, CA. He served his country in the United States Army Reserves.
He was a self-employed sign craftsman. Richard was a 7th degree black belt in Karate and at one time owned and operated a karate studio in Oklahoma.
Richard is survived by his wife Stephanie, a son, Stetson (Lucy) Reger.
At Richard’s request, cremation was chosen and there will be no services.
Whetsel Funeral Service, Alexandria has been entrusted the services.
