ALEXANDRIA: Ruth M Ledford, 98 of Alexandria died Friday, May 17, 2019 in Bethany Pointe Health Care after an extended illness.
Ruth was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 27, 1921 and was the daughter of Oliver and Edna (Earhart) Kleinjohn. She married James Ledford on June 18, 1955. He preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 2003.
She was retired from Muncie Gear and had previously worked at Thriftway Grocery.
Ruth was a member of the Church of St. Mary’s in Alexandria.
Those left to carry on her legacy of love are her Nieces and Nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister and three brothers and one niece.
A private family graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
