Terren C. Somers, 76 of Daleville went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Terren was born in Summitville, IN on April 27, 1943 and was the daughter of Terrence and Colleen (Music) Hollingsworth. On February 22, 1977 she married James Somers, who preceded her in death on April 27, 2017.

Terren had retired from Best Access in Indianapolis and was a member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, Anderson.

Terren was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who always enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to play the piano with songs of praise and adoration for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She loved to attend church camp meetings and camping with her husband Jim. Terren was very creative person who loved people; her and Jim would do different craft projects and then attend craft fairs to sell their crafts.

Left to carry on her legacy of love are her children, Brian (Sandra) Walker, Jeff (Roberta) Walker and Vaughn (Connie) Walker; daughter, Cathy Somers. her brothers, Dannis (Karen) Hollingsworth and Terry (Cheryl) Hollingsworth; her sister, Leyte Clark. Also surviving are her eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Somers and a brother, Sheldon Hollingsworth.

There are no public services planned at this time. The family will hold a Celebration of Life service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, 2604 N Scatterfield Rd., 46102 or in care of the funeral home.
