Beverly Jean Mart, 82 of Anderson died Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at her residence after an extended illness.
Beverly was born on Jan. 24, 1931 in Madison Co. and was the daughter of Walter E. and Mary G. (Chapman) Perry. On June 16, 1949 she married John V. Mart.
She had attended the former North Anderson Church of God. Beverly was retired from Warner Press of Anderson.
She is survived by two sons, Larry W. Mart and Dan Mart, a daughter, Debra Baxter and a sister, Violet Ubanks. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, John V. Mart and a grandson, Abraham Baxter.
At Beverly’s request cremation was chosen and there will be no services or visitation. Interment of her cremains will be in Forrestville Cemetery.
