Bobby D. Kennedy, 71 of Alexandria died Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at the Alexandria Care Center after a sudden illness.
Bobby was born in Livingston, TN on Feb. 10, 1952, and was the son of John and Corine (Taylor) Kennedy.
He retired from the Saturn Corporation in Smyrna, TN after 32 years of service.
Bobby is survived by a brother, Larry (Vickie) Kennedy; sister, JoAnn Anderson; sister-in-law, Legina Kennedy. Also surviving are his nieces Amie (Greg) Hood, Jada (Jim) Smith and his nephew Chris Kennedy and several great-nieces and nephews.
His was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, John Kennedy, Jr. and Billy C. Kennedy, two sisters, Brinda Kennedy and Phyllis “Tutti” Kennedy, a nephew, Joseph D Kennedy and a brother-in-law, Gerald Anderson.
In honoring Bobby’s request cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
