Daniel Swindell

Daniel L. (Danny) Swindell, 64 of Alexandria died Friday, April 4, 2014 in IU-Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis after an extended illness.
Danny was born in Elwood, Indiana on Nov. 2, 1949 and was the son of James and Emma Jean (Davis) Swindell.
Danny spent most of his life in the Alexandria area where he farmed the family farm until his retirement. He was a member of Eagles Lodge Aries 1771 in Alexandria.
Surviving is his son, Marc (Kim Harrington) Swindell of Alexandria.
A service to celebrate Danny’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. in Whetsel Funeral Service, Alexandria. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Private interment services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family in care of the funeral home.
