Elizabeth Ann (Harrison) Judd, eighty-six-year-old Mother of Three, Grandmother of Four, Great Grandmother of three passed away Thanksgiving Day 2022 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana after an extended illness.
Elizabeth was born on March 1, 1936 to Mary Ruth and Fred Harrison in Orestes, Indiana and resided the rest of her life in Alexandria, IN. She was a 1954 graduate of Alexandria High School. Beth married James Everett Judd on January 14, 1955. She loved working as a librarian for the Anderson Public Library and making friends and meeting the patrons for 35 years. She was an avid reader and loved to watch the Cincinnati Reds and the Chicago White Sox. She enjoyed nature and watching the farmers bring in the fall harvest. She had fond memories of traveling with her father on short trips across Indiana. She cared for her late mother Mary Ruth Harrison until her death. She was a woman of great conviction and opinion who was never shy to express herself. She always took time to show interest in other people. Easter was her favorite holiday and she enjoyed spending holidays with her family. She was extremely proud of her children and their spouses, her grand and great grandchildren and all their accomplishments.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Ruth and Fred Harrison and her eldest daughter, Laura Beth Judd Compton.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, James Everett Judd. Surviving Beth is her younger brother George Harrison (Carmen) of Washington State.
Also surviving are her children: Steven James Judd (Heidi) NC; Julia Ann Judd LeValley (Steve) MD. Her surviving grandchildren: Dorian Everett Pine (Amanda) NC, Harrison Steven Judd (Ashlee) NC; Jacob Andrew LeValley of Maryland; and Samantha Judd Pfaff (John) NC. Her great grandchildren are Grace & Gavin Pine, and Eastyn Pfaff all of North Carolina. Also surviving is her Son-In-Law, Jef Compton (Laura) of Orestes.
Elizabeth will be missed by family and friends.
Funeral services for Beth will be on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in Whetsel Funeral Service, Park Ave. Chapel, 1503 S. Park Ave. Alexandria with Bud Whetsel officiating, Burial will follow in Park View Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 p.m to 2:00 p.m.
