Ghost Griffis

Ghost Griffis, age 10, passed away on Friday, February 13th, leaving behind a paw-shaped imprint on the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Ghost was the beloved fur baby of Kenny Griffis, Jr., and a cherished companion whose loyalty and affection knew no bounds. He shared a special bond with his siblings, Evie and Sammy, and was adored by his paternal grandparents, Kenny and Sharon Griffis, Sr.

Known for his playful spirit, Ghost found great joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially tug toys, anything with a squeaker, and the irresistible crunch of cheese balls. Winter days were among his favorites, as he loved burying himself in the snow, while warmer moments were best spent riding proudly on the golf cart beside his family. No matter the time of day, his most treasured place was curled up next to his daddy, where he felt safest and most at home.

More than a pet, Ghost was a beautiful soulmate and a deeply loving companion. His gentle presence, unwavering devotion, and joyful personality brought comfort, laughter, and unconditional love to his family every single day.

Though his paws no longer walk beside them, the love he gave will remain forever in their hearts.

Private cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whetsel Funeral Service, through its Faithful Friends Pet Cremation Service, 1503 S. Park Avenue, Alexandria, Indiana.
