Janice Kreps

July 20, 1935 — August 6, 2014

Janice Arlene Kreps, 79 of Chesterfield and former Dunkirk resident was welcomed into Heaven Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014.
Janice was the daughter of Albert and Mildred (Gibson) Renner. She was born in Portland, IN on July 20, 1935. She was a long time resident of Jay Co. IN with a short time spent in Crawfordville, FL. She was a founding member of Temple Baptist Church in Dunkirk. Janice worked with her husband at Kreps Auto Body and Autopro, as well as working in the office at Indiana Glass Co all of Dunkirk.
Janice’s unwavering faith in God, devotion to her husband, family and church, selfless Christian walk and sweet spirit resulted in an unquestionable example for all. She enjoyed music, theater, sewing, baking, crossword puzzles and sharing her beautiful voice.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 59 years, Ronald Kreps of Chesterfield, four daughters, Teri (Randy) White of Fishers, Sheri Pearson of Muncie, Lori (Tim) Green of Evansville and Jodi (Joe) Daugherty of Harmony, nine loving grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and her sister Reva Jean Wilson of Berne.
Funeral services for Janice will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014 in the Temple Baptist Church, 17920 St. Rd 167 South, Dunkirk with Rev. Steve Nelson of Rossville, IL officiating. Burial will follow in the Boundary Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Saturday at the church from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The family is deeply grateful to Heartland Hospice Services, Indianapolis, Millers Merry Manor, Chesterfield, Rawlins House , Pendleton and Whetsel Funeral Service, Alexandria.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Temple Baptist Church, P.O. Box 268, Dunkirk, IN 47336 and Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org.
