Joseph E. “Slow Joe” Chambers, 55 of Alexandria died Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in Community Hospital, Anderson after a brief illness.
He was born in Anderson, IN on May 15, 1961 and was the son of Dallas and Bernice (Bogue) Chambers. He attended Alexandria-Monroe High School.
Joe was a self-employed house painter for several years.
Joe is survived by his wife, Nanette Chambers, a daughter, Ashley L Chambers, a sister, Beverly Compton-Chesterfield. Also surviving is his granddaughter, Nevaeh Chambers.
He was preceded in death by his Parents.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
