Linda Lee Williams

Linda Williams, 78, passed away on August 5, 2026 at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital, Indianapolis.

Linda was a 1966 graduate of Alexandria High School and attended Church of God Full Gospel. Her faith was important to her, and she enjoyed spending time reading her Bible.

Linda loved her family deeply and especially treasured the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. Over the years, she also shared her home and heart with several beloved dogs, including her grandpup, Hank.

She enjoyed going to the casino and shopping, with QVC being a longtime favorite before she discovered Amazon. Linda also had the opportunity to see much of the country. With her husband, Terry, working as a truck driver, she was able to travel throughout all 48 continental United States and made many memories along the way.

Linda is survived by her children, Dan (Amy) Foley, David (Rachel) Foley, Mat (Michelle) Foley, James (Crystal) Foley, and Jennifer Foley; brother, John (Regina) Garner; grandchildren, Lorelei, Abigail, Simon, Connor, Sam, Amy, Jesse, Jason, Brandy, Krista, Thomas, Patrick, Colin, Dakota, Nate, and Avery; great-grandchild, Wrenly; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and also by everyone who called her mom.

She was preceded in death by parents, Lee "June" and Deloris Garner; her husband, Terry Williams; sister, Judy Smith; and nieces, Amy Rastetter and Carrie Garner.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Whetsel Funeral Service, 1503 South Park Avenue, Alexandria.

A service to honor Linda's life will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Whetsel Funeral Service, with Susan Whetsel officiating.

Private cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whetsel Funeral Service.
