MaLinda S Pironello

February 14, 1981 — April 22, 2026

MaLinda S. Pironello, 45, of Alexandria, passed away on April 22, 2026.

She was born on February 14, 1981, in Elwood, Indiana, to Thomas and Linda (Durr) Humphries.

MaLinda was homeschooled and later earned her nursing degree from Indiana University Kokomo in 2006. She began her career as a nurse and was employed with Comprehensive Correctional Care at the Madison County Jail.

MaLinda was a wonderful mother who deeply loved her three sons. In fact, all three of her boys said the same thing about her: she was a great mom. She had a gift for music and taught herself to play the piano. She loved playing so much that her mom would jokingly pay her for just five minutes of silence. Growing up, she was always eager to keep up with anything her brothers were doing, showing the determined and spirited personality that carried through her life.

As a nurse, MaLinda was known for her compassion, dedication, and willingness to go above and beyond for her patients. She was a strong advocate for those in her care and was never afraid to speak up on their behalf. In her younger years, she attended Grace Baptist Church in Anderson.

MaLinda is survived by her three sons, Eli Pironello, Cooper Pironello, and Brody Pironello; her parents, Thomas "Tom" and Linda Humphries; her brothers, Michael (Misty) Humphries, Joseph (Michelle) Humphries, Matthew (Amy) Humphries, and Danny (Erin) Summers; nephews, Colin Bradford, Ethan Humphries, Lucas Humphries, Gavin Humphries, Wyatt Humphries, and Tucker Summers; nieces, Ella Humphries and Charlee Summers; her beloved dog sister, Daisy; and the father of her boys and former husband, Michael Pironello.

She was preceded in death by her nephew, Reece Humphries.
