Paul Semon

Paul C. Semon, 60, of Alexandria, passed away on February 6, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family after a brave battle with a prolonged illness.

Paul was born on July 31, 1963, in Anderson, Indiana, to Larry D. and Linda L. Semon. He graduated from Alexandria-Monroe High School in the Class of 1982. On April 11, 1982, he married his sweetheart, Amy Reismiller Semon. Paul was a devoted member of the Alexandria Nazarene Church.

As a skilled carpenter, Paul owned and operated Semon & Sons Construction Co. He had a deep passion for nature, enjoying hunting and fishing whenever possible. Above all, Paul cherished spending time with his family and was a loving husband and father.

Paul is survived by his wife, Amy; children Uriah (Lilly) Semon, Jarrett Semon, and Mara (Dougie Willett) Semon; brothers James (Marti) Semon and Larry (Helen) Semon; sister Holly (Scott) Griggs; granddaughter Layne Semon; and a granddaughter on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry D. and Linda L. Semon, and a sister, Ann Marie Fields.

A Celebration of Life service will be March 2, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.at the Emery Lee Auditorium, 503 S Park Ave., Alexandria.
