Phyllis Wilson, 70, of Elwood, peacefully passed away at her residence on October 7, 2024, after a courageous battle with illness. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Born on July 15, 1954, in, Indiana, Phyllis was the beloved daughter of Robert and Amy (Kaylor) Lewis. She married Charles Michael Wilson on September 7, 1991, who sadly preceded her in death on October 7, 2013.
Phyllis was a dedicated homemaker and a nurturing mother and grandmother. She is survived by her loving children, Mike Lewis, Amber (Sky) Estes, Brittney(Tim) Wilson, Jocelyn Henderson, and Barbara (Shawn) Sutherland, along with her cherished 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Linda Price.
Phyllis had a passion for gathering family and friends for potluck dinners, creating lasting memories around the table. To honor her life, a celebration of life service with a potluck dinner will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in Beulah Park at the Pavilion, near the playground, where loved ones can come together in her memory.
