Scott D Stinson

Scott D. Stinson, 54, of Anderson, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, after a brief illness at his residence. He leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever be cherished by those who knew him.

Scott was born in Anderson, Indiana, on December 22, 1969, to his  parents, Robert D. Stinson and Celeste (Ancil) Smith. 

A true animal lover at heart, Scott shared a special bond with his beloved four-legged companion, Ozzie. Their companionship brought joy and comfort to each other's lives, creating cherished memories that will endure. Scott's compassion, love for animals, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed but forever remembered. 

Scott's memory will forever live on in the hearts of his parents, Bob and Janice Stinson, Celeste and Jack Smith; his brother, Jay Juday; his sisters, Nicole (Kevin) Grisel, Heather (Mark) Fox, Tiffany (Shawn) Yapp, and Joy Stout. His presence touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.

A service to celebrate Scott's life will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Whetsel Funeral Service, Park Ave. Chapel, 1503 S. Park Ave., Alexandria, IN 46001 with Rev. David Coplin officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Monday, March 18, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the Madison Co. Humane Society, 2229 Crystal St., Anderson, IN 46012, or in care of the funeral home.
