Teresa Humphrey

April 16, 1959 — August 8, 2021

Teresa Ann Humphrey, 62 of Alexandria died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2021, at her residence after an extended illness surrounded by her family.

Teresa was born in Anderson, IN on April 16, 1959, and was the daughter of Carl “Bud” and Faye (McClish) Beemer. She was a 1977 graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School and in 1978 she graduated from Ft. Wayne Business College.

Teresa was an electrician by trade. She started her career working at Humphrey Electric where she completed her journeyman training. She later was employed by Kirby Risk and CED all of Anderson.

She was an avid gamer and enjoyed playing World of War Craft and Second Life with her friends that spanned the globe. Teresa was an amazing crocheter, whom she learned from her Nanny.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Shannon Gaddis and Dustin Marshall; her parents, Carl “Bud” and Faye Beemer; her brothers, Tom Beemer and Joe (Robin) Beemer; her sisters, Cathy (Neil) Summa and Monica Fix. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Kalila McCaughan, Caitlyn McCaughan, Gabriel McCaughan, Mallory Gaddis and Lilly Gaddis; and the father of her children, Harold Humphrey; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Mathew and a brother, Randy Beemer.

A private family service will take place at a later date.

The family wishes a thank Nurse Wendy with Kindred Care Hospice.

Arrangements are being handled by Whetsel Funeral Service, Park Ave Chapel, Alexandria.

Bud & Susan Whetsel are honored to care for Teresa and to serve the Humphrey and Beemer families.
