Dolly
Therapy Dog in Training

Dolly came into our lives as a quiet blessing, and from the very beginning, her heart for comfort has been evident.

She was originally welcomed into a family during a season of deep loss, given as a gift of love and companionship when comfort was needed most. As life continued to unfold and circumstances changed, Dolly found her way to us and we are incredibly grateful she did.

Today, Dolly is a cherished part of the Whetsel Funeral Service family. She is currently in training to become a certified therapy dog, but those who have met her would agree, she already has a natural gift for bringing calm, connection, and comfort to those around her. With her gentle presence, warm eyes, and affectionate spirit, Dolly has quickly become a favorite among our staff, families, and extended community.

Whether she’s offering a quiet moment of companionship, greeting visitors with a wagging tail, or simply sitting nearby, Dolly reminds us that healing often comes through presence and sometimes, through four gentle paws.

We are honored to have Dolly alongside us as we continue our mission of comforting souls, inspiring trust, and healing hearts.
